I rode out the Old Julian Hwy on my way home this morning and stopped to take a pic of a former chicken coup. No camera, so I hauled a$$ back to the motel and they made me a new key to get back into the room. Whew!!!! it was still there. The good news is that in the end I got to ride this fun stretch of road five times.
I came across this camel farm near where the Old Julian Hwy connects to Hwy 78. I’m still puzzled about why anyone would raise them, I hear they taste like chicken.
