After spending the night at Chief Lamoni’s motel in Lamoni Kansas I traveled a town or two and saw a sign advertising the world famous Toot Toot Restaurant. I figured any place with a stuffed old timer like this leaving had to be good!
After I placed my order I got up to check out this eagle. It looked real so I asked my waitress. She said the feathers were but the rest wasn’t. It must belong to a native because the rest of us aren’t allowed to own those feathers.
My breakfast was huge and very good. No licking the plate this time.
I was planning on riding down to Condi and Juniors place but I-35 was getting drenched. Even the route I picked looked questionable.
Cranky said yesterday that you can hear corn grow. Everything yesterday was 6’ tall. This morning it is all 12’ tall. I listened very carefully and sure enough it sounds like a purring Goldwing when you listen real close.
