We filled up at this Mobil station in Yarmouth, Maine
It was interesting to see this big Halon extinguishers mounted above the pumps.
I heard the words ‘Pull Over’ come across my CB
Fred’s phone became detached from his bike. While he went back to try and find it on foot, I took a couple of pictures.
We were parked a couple of hundred yards apart but I squeezed them together using trick photography.
Fred had to walk back a mile to find his phone.
He gave up trying to find it and started walking back to the bike
Halfway back to the bike he heard a truck run over something. It was his phone.
So we reprogrammed my gps for the AT&T store.
This guy was there in a nicely restored old Chevy Impala
I visited with him while Fred got a new phone
Funny thing is we didn’t talk about the car.
Pretty happy when he still thought it was insured
He looks stumped when he found out his $900 phones insurance lapsed yesterday.
I think Apple could make their stuff a little sturdier
Even my $99 WalMart special works better.
New phone in hand we headed to Bar Harbor
Found this nice motel and will spend the next two nights here.
Very clean and comfortable. Prices go up in one week when the official season starts.
We intended on having a lobster dinner tonight but ended up in a small Bar Harbor cafe. This lobster mac and cheese was very good. Tomorrow we will visit Acadia NP
