There were so many eagles coming up from the valley below us that it looked like departure time at PHX during rush hour. BTW, it is hard to get good pictures of these guys.

At the Pratt Museum was this cute little cabin. It was fully equipped, even came with a loft.
Just downhill from the Privy was a self fertilizing garden. Yum, yum.
I guess this totem pole is real, just not authentic. My daughter is an authentic Alaskan Girl!
I don’t know what this ground cover is, but it was all over the area that we took a walk through.
Sarah was excited to show us the artwork along the trail, but it was not updated this year due to lack of funding. She was disappointed.
This outdoor mobile was a remnant of past art. For some reason it brought to mind Susan’s flying monkeys.

If you can squint down and read this you will find a couple interesting things about Alaska.

The fishing charter customers would come here to have their catch weighed and filleted.
These guys were fast…even had all of their fingers…all nine of them.

but mostly fishing ones. We did see the Lisa Marie which is one of the five boats used on the ‘Deadliest Catch’ show. However I just thought it was Michael Jackson’s Ex so I didn’t take a picture of it.

This guy was kite surfing. Sometimes he would grab 20’ of air and travel more than a 100’ feet out of the water. More pictures ahead.
